A 23-year-old man has been charged in connection with an assault on a police officer in Norwich.
Lance Beane, of Primrose Crescent, was charged with grievous bodily harm with intent following an incident in Thomas Wyatt Close in the early hours of Friday morning.
He appeared before Norwich Magistrates court this morning and has been remanded in custody.
The officer was released from hospital yesterday.
