A man has been charged in connection with yesterday's pharmacy raid in Gorleston.

Cully Boggis, 26 of New College Close, Gorleston, has been charged with robbery and possession of an imitation firearm, following an incident in Magdalen Way at approximately 9am on Thursday.

Police were called after a man entered a pharmacy with what was described to officers as a 'toy style gun', before demanding medication and making off.

Boggis was arrested shortly afterwards, has since been taken into police custody and is due to appear at Norwich Magistrates' Court today.
