A Norwich man has captured the moment a peregrine falcon swooped on a pigeon and ate it in the city centre.
Brett Price saw the bird feasting at his building site, near to St Andrews car park.
Mr Price wrote: 'In the city centre it brought down this pigeon and ate it right in front of our eyes on our building site.
'It swooped down with the pigeon alive, de-feathered it and then carried the carcass away.'
He admitted it was a gruesome sight, but said it was nature in action.
