A man who was arrested by detectives investigating the suspicious death of a man 11 years ago has been released on police bail.
The 34-year-old was arrested in connection with the death of hairdresser Russell Marsom yesterday morning.
The man, who is from London, has been bailed to return to Thorpe Wood Police Station in Peterborough on May 17.
Mr Marsom, 29, was found lying face-up in a water-filled ditch at Milton, near Cambridge, in March 1996.
Despite extensive inquiries, no one had ever been charged in connection with Mr Marsom, who came from Hunstanton.
A post-mortem concluded Mr Marsom drowned, but police still do not know how he came to be in the ditch.
An inquest recorded an open verdict.
