Man assaulted on Christmas Eve in Swaffham

A man was left with a split lip after an assault in Swaffham on Christmas Eve.

The crime happened on London Street between 8.25pm and 8.40pm. The victim, a man in his late 20s, was approached by a male who punched him in the face several times. The suspect is described as white, about 5ft 10inches tall, aged between 35 and 45 years, with a balding head and wearing a black jacket.

Witnesses should call PC Emma Riches at Dereham police station on 101.
