A 28-year-old Lowestoft man has been arrested on suspicion of possession of heroin and crack cocaine – with intent to supply.
The man was detained in Normanston Drive just before 8pm on Thursday, February 18, after officers on patrol stopped and spoke to him.
He was detained for a drug search and a bag of cannabis was seized, before he was arrested on suspicion of possession of the class B drug.
The man was then taken into custody where he was further searched – and a quantity of class A drugs were recovered.
More than £500 in cash was seized and he was also arrested on suspicion of money laundering.
The 28-year-old has now been bailed to return to police on April 21, to allow further enquiries to be carried out.
