A Lowestoft man has appeared in court after the alleged theft of around £120,000 worth of antiques.
Barry Spearing, 55, of Green Drive, Lowestoft pleaded not guilty at Norwich Magistrates Court this morning.
Mr Spearing will appear at Norwich Crown Court on Wednesday, December 16 at 9.30am.
He was arrested yesterday on suspicion of theft and money laundering as part of an ongoing investigation.
He was taken to Martlesham Police Investigation Centre for questioning and was subsequently charged with theft.
Officers also arrested a 50-year-old woman from Ipswich, on suspicion of money laundering and handling stolen goods.
She was questioned at Martlesham Police Investigation Centre and has since been bailed until March. 16, 2016 pending further enquiries.
