Man and woman arrested on suspicion of wounding in Lowestoft

POLICE are seeking witnesses after trouble flared on the dance floor and in a stairwell at Hush Hush nightclub in Lowestoft.

The incident happened about 3am at the nightclub in Marine Parade in the early hours of Saturday (April 21).

A 25-year-old man suffered a deep cut to the palm of his hand and swelling and bruising to his face. Police subsequently arrested a 26-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman on suspicion of wounding and both have now been bailed to return to officers on June 7 pending further enquiries.

Police are asking anyone who may have seen the incident to call PC 1784 Reeve at Lowestoft on 101.
