Man airlifted to hospital after collapsing in Lowestoft

A man in his 50s was airlifted to hospital after suffering a cardiac arrest in Lowestoft.

The East of England Ambulance Service Trust was called at 7.48pm last night (Tuesday) to an address near Kirkley Run.

Two ambulance crews and an ambulance officer attended, before the East Anglian Air Ambulance arrived at 8.44pm.

Medical teams treated the patient at the scene before he was airlifted to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
