An 80-year-old man who sparked a search after going missing from his Dereham care home overnight has been found.
Eric Bromhead left York House on Norwich Road some time after 11pm last night and police said he was in a confused state.
Norfolk's Lowland Search and Rescue Team and a helicopter from RAF Kinloss joined officers in efforts to find Mr Bromhead.
Police said he was found today at about 9.20am. They didn't give an exact location where he was discovered and only said it was 'in the Dereham area.'
They had earlier said Mr Bromhead, originally from Fakenham, was physically fit and may stop to talk to people.
