Road works are set to take place on the A1065, Fakenham Road in South Raynham, with a section of the road due to be closed for major carriageway resurfacing.
Work will begin on August 29 with minor kerbing and footway works and traffic will be controlled by two way temporary signals. This will be ahead of major carriageway resurfacing which will begin on September 4 and extend from the junction with Wellingham Road through to the junction with Raynham Road.
During this time the road will be closed to all through traffic between 9.30am and 4.00pm each day. The work is expected to be completed on Wednesday September 6.
A fully signed diversion will be in operation via Bawdeswell, North Elmham, Guist, Fakenham and Hempton.
Norfolk County Council said access to businesses and properties will be maintained but they do expect some disruption.
