Students at Sprowston Community High School raised more than �1,000 at a food and craft fair on Saturday.
The money will go to Macmillan Cancer Support and cancer sufferer Rachel Lane, a friend of organiser Chloe McEwen.
The 'Made in Norfolk' event saw hundreds of people turn out to enjoy a range of local handmade produce, from cupcakes and chocolates to jewellery and cards, and concluded with a raffle of items donated by businesses.
Ms McEwen said: 'The event was an incredible success and I was overwhelmed with the support and the amount of money that we have raised for an amazing cause.'
