The macro shot of a budding friendship between a ladybird and a hover fly has secured the Lowestoft Journal's Picture of the Week.
Hayley King, who lives in Cambridge, took this rare macro shot on her Canon Powershot while out walking in a meadow last month.
Miss King, who hails from Pakefield said: "Macro photography is amazing, I have tried to do it before but had never taken a photograph.
"I had a fiddle with it and it is amazing. I will continue with it for a while - macro is fun. You get a really crisp image, but to be honest it is all about the lighting," she said.
As our winner, Miss King receives a 12in x 10in framed version of her photo from Picture Studios, of London Road North, Lowestoft. Entries can be of any subject but they must be digital images. Email your pictures to lowestoft.journal@archant.co.uk
