A 19-year-old was presented with a gold medal by the Queen in recognition of her oustanding A-level results.
Hannah Hodges, a former student at King Edward VII Academy in King's Lynn, was joined at the presentation, at Sandringham House, by her parents, Teresa and Jeremy, her sister Niamh and school principal Craig Morrison.
The teenager, from Lynn, starts at university in Oxford in September, and said: 'The Queen was really lovely and asked me all about my studies and gap year. It was surreal walking through the house knowing I was going to meet her – an amazing experience.'
