The B1145 at North Walsham was closed following the collision near Lyngate Industrial Estate.

Motorists escaped serious injury following a two car crash in North Walsham.

A Nissan Micra and Citreon Picasso collided on the B1145 road, which runs between Mundesley and North Walsham, close to Lyngate Industrial Estate.

Emergency services raced to the scene after the alarm was raised around 12.40pm this afternoon (Friday), with one of the vehicles toppling onto its roof.

Fire crews from Mundesley and North Walsham responded along with police and the ambulance service and had to help free one casualty.

However, no-one was seriously injured and the wreckage was cleared from the road soon after.
