Lowestoft Vision – the town's business improvement district (BID) – has linked up with Lowestoft Town FC and become an official club partner.

The organisation, which is part of Suffolk Chamber of Commerce in Lowestoft and Waveney, created the brand 'Discover Lowestoft' in 2015. It has been used to promote the town as a place to Love, Shop, Stay, Eat and Play. Recently the Lowestoft Vision management board agreed to fund a sponsor's board at Lowestoft's Crown Meadow headquarters to promote the town.

And as the Discover Lowestoft banner was unveiled, Lowestoft Vision board member and director of Graphitas, Justin Taylor, said: 'Lowestoft Vision is delighted to show our support to the Trawlerboys. The club welcomes hundreds of travelling away fans as well as its own loyal supporters so it seemed the ideal place to promote Discover Lowestoft.'

Thanking Lowestoft Vision for becoming an official club partner, Lowestoft Town FC commercial manager, Sam Hossack, said: 'Everyone at Lowestoft Town FC would like to thank Lowestoft Vision for sponsoring the football by becoming an official club partner. The support from local businesses and organisations is so vital to the football club and helps the club continue its work within the local community. Hopefully this is the start of a very active partnership, where Lowestoft Town FC and Lowestoft Vision will work in collaboration on future projects going forward.'
