A DISTINCTIVE looking rock band with a Lowestoft guitarist are to shoot a video with a Coronation Street star for their new single.

Never a Hero, which features Kaji on lead guitar, will shot a video with Bruce Jones, who played Les Battersby, on Wednesday for the single Burning Skies.

The popular actor played a 'deranged fan' of the band which says there is a twist to the end of the video, which will be shot in Sudbury, Suffolk, where most of the group, who all wear bizarre masks and strange sounding nicknames, come from.

Lead singer Phrixus said: 'We are really thrilled to have Bruce on board. He is a soap legend and the twist in the video really fits in with his character, both on and off the screen.'

Burning Skies will be the first single form the album Bleed between the lies, which will be finished in May.

Kaji said: 'The new album is going to be incredible.'

The band have signed a US music deal have supported Wolfsbane on tour and an early single has been seen 100,000 on the Youtube internet site.

Last August Kaji and the band caused a stir in Southwold by shooting a sports-based video for the single Trippin' on Speed, which saw the group swimming off the beach by the Alfred Corry Museum and running and cycling along nearby roads.
