People in Lowestoft are to return to the polls yet again in the coming weeks, following the resignation of two members of Waveney District Council.
Labour councillors Steve Logan and Louise Harris-Logan tendered their resignations on Friday, meaning a local by-election is on the horizon for the town.
Mr Logan and Mrs Harris-Logan, who represent Kirkley and St Margaret's respectively, both cited work-reasons for their decisions, saying they can 'no longer dedicate sufficient time to the role'.
A joint statement by the WDC Labour Group and Waveney Constituency Labour Party said: 'We believe that Mr Logan and Mrs Harris-Logan have acted in the most honourable manner in taking this step.
'We wish them both well and thank them for their hard work.'
Waveney District Council is yet to confirm details of when by-elections to determine their successors will be.
