Motorists in a part of Attleborough will have to slow down to 20mph under a Norfolk County Council scheme to reduce speed limits.

The council wants to cut the limit from 30mph to 20mph on a number of residential roads in the town's west, near Carvers' Lane.

The proposal is to reduce the speed limit in most of Honeysuckle Way, Cosmos Close, Snapdragon Close, most of Bracken Drive, Hazel Road and Willow Court.

Residents can lodge objections with the council until September 12, and they can be made in writing to Mrs Simmons, nplaw, Norfolk County Council, County Hall, Martineau Lane, Norwich, NR1 2DH.

Objections can also be made by emailing trafficorders@norfolk.gov.uk.

Anyone objecting to the plans is asked to give their reason for opposing the lower speed limit.

People can also ask questions about the plans by calling 01603 228939.
