A lorry has scraped the side of a King's Lynn Wetherspoon, leaving some of its wheels suspended in the air.
Keith Watts, 51, of Peterborough, was having a drink in the Lattice House on Chapel Street on Thursday when the incident happened.
He said he believed it was around 5.10pm when he heard a “screeching” noise.
“I looked up and I could see this lorry, I thought from the angle of it, it must have hit the building.
“A few of us looked out and saw the wheels were suspended in the air.”
Mr Watts added: “I felt a bit bemused by it and felt sorry for the driver. It was a real shock, you don’t expect to see it.”
The Lattice House is woned by JD Wetherspoon and was put up for sale last year. It is a Grade II-listed building which became an inn in 1714.
