A lorry collided with a Norfolk railway bridge today, disrupting trains travelling between Norwich and London.
The truck hit the bridge in Victoria Road, Diss shortly before 4pm and police attended the incident, although the road did not have to be closed and there were no reported injuries.
The accident affected the 2.30pm London Liverpool Street to Norwich and the 4pm Norwich to Liverpool Street services, which were delayed by 15 minutes while the bridge was checked for structural damage. The scene was clear by 5pm.
