Lord Mayor launches Norwich In Bloom with tea party at Notcutts

This year’s Norwich In Bloom campaign has officially been launched with a tea party at Notcutts Garden Centre.
The Lord Mayor of Norwich, councillor David Fellman launched the campaign on Thursday, April 26.
Local businesses, schools, community groups and residents are invited to take part in this year’s Norwich In Bloom campaign, which aims to enhance the city as a vibrant, floral and environmentally-friendly place to live, work and visit.
Norwich In Bloom is part of the Royal Horticultural Society’s Anglia In Bloom campaign.
Last year, Norwich won the Anglia In Bloom ‘best city’ award as well as several awards for its impressive floral displays in local parks, churchyards, restaurants and pubs.
Notcutts Norwich deputy manager and Norwich In Bloom committee member, Nick Bugden, said: “Norwich In Bloom is a fantastic campaign that really brings the community together. It inspires everyone to take pride in their city, and to share their love of plants and gardening.”
