A girl guide will today see her flag take pride of place at Norwich's Forum as part of the landmark's 10th birthday celebrations.
Young Millie Pascoe, 10, from Long Stratton, was yesterday revealed as the winner of a competition to design a bunting flag to be hung up at the Forum. Grandmother Kerriel Rayner, from Norwich's Golden Triangle, was also given a prize.
The competition, organised by the Norfolk and Norwich Millennium Library and The Forum Trust, saw nearly 500 people enter, each designing a flag which illustrated what the library and Forum has meant to them over the last decade. All of the entrants' flags will be hung up around the Forum as part of this Saturday's birthday party. For more on the Forum's birthday party, don't miss tomorrow's Evening News.
