Today nine college and school pupils began their work as Members of Youth Parliament (MYP).
Norwich North MYP is Billie Bell, 14, from Sprowston Community High School.
Manifesto: 'I want to restore confidence in politics and to give young people a sense of empowerment. I want free public transport for you; more jobs and apprenticeships for when you leave school; fairer taxes so that the bankers pay for the mess they've left us with; lower tuition fees and low interest rates on student loans so you can afford to go to university; and votes at 16 to ensure that the government takes you seriously. At the moment we don't matter to them because we can't vote. This should change.'
