A north Norfolk community wants to set up a blueprint for how development in the parish will be carried out in future years.
North Norfolk District Council has received an application seeking to designate the parish of Ryburgh, near Fakenham, as a neighbourhood area.
This would be the first step in the formal procedure towards preparing a neighbourhood development plan, neighbourhood development order or a community right to build order.
A neighbourhood development plan can establish general planning policies for the development and use of land in an area, such as where new homes and offices should be built and what they should look like.
North Norfolk District Council is running a four-week consultation on the application, until March 27. To view the application and map, visit www.north-norfolk.gov.uk/neighbourhoodareas
