Parts of Blackfriars Road and Norfolk Street will be closed for a day for carriageway resurfacing on Sunday, March 26.
Work on A148 Blackfriars Road will be located between the railway station and the junction with Railway Road. The work on Norfolk Street will be located between Anglia Yard and the junction with Blackfriars Road and Littleport Street.
Norfolk County Council says during the resurfacing works it will be necessary to close both roads to all through traffic between 7.30am and 7pm.
Signed diversions will be in place during the works. Controlled access to Coburg Street retail complex and the railway station will be maintained. Controlled access will maintained to Norfolk Street from Railway Road.
The council said: 'Access to businesses and properties within the limits of the works will be maintained from one end of the closure at any time but it is inevitable that there will be some disruption.'
