Part of the play area in one of Norwich's most popular parks has been made off limits to children in the middle of the summer holidays.
The play equipment at Eaton Park has been fenced off by Norwich City Council because one of the supports on the climbing frame has snapped, making it unsafe.
The problem was found on Monday as part of a routine inspection and was also reported by a member of the public.
A spokeswoman for Norwich City Council said the manufacturer would be coming out next week to look at repairing it.
