North Norfolk MP Norman Lamb is about to set off on his annual summer tour of villages in his constituency.

Between Tuesday August 30 and Friday September 2 Mr. Lamb will hold 57 surgeries across the patch.

The aim of the tour is to give local people the opportunity to meet him and discuss any issues of local concern.

Last year a number of issues were raised including the lack of affordable housing and the unfairness of council tax.

Mr Lamb said: 'I understand that for various reasons it isn't always possible to attend my weekly surgeries in the main towns. Holding this tour allows me to see as many people across the constituency as possible and allows people who find it difficult to leave their village to raise concerns with me.'

Anyone wanting to talk to Mr Lamb at any of the locations can simply arrive at the given time. There is no need to book an appointment, although it would be helpful to telephone his office beforehand on 01692 403752 to give an idea of items to be discussed.

Mr Lamb also holds regular surgeries in each of the main towns – Stalham, North Walsham, Cromer, Sheringham, Holt and Wells. Appointments can be booked by ringing the office.
