And as the election campaign gets into swing, the posters and banners urging us to vote for one candidate or another are springing up around our area.
Labour's Mid Norfolk hopeful Harry Clarke was quick to seize on one which has gone up above some greenery in his patch,
He tweeted: 'Don't hedge your bets! Vote Labour Mid-Norfolk.'
