Employees at County Hall in Norwich were left in the dark by a power cut this morning (Wednesday, April 26).
UK Power Networks said eight properties in Martineau Lane were affected by the outage, and a council spokesman confirmed County Hall was amongst them.
The cut was caused by underground cable fault, and lasted from 8.16am until engineers were able to restore power at 9.04am.
A UK Power Networks spokesman said: 'We understand how difficult it is to be without power and apologise for any inconvenience caused.'
