A lifeboat crew helped a kite surfer in trouble off the north Norfolk coast today.
Humber Coastguard requested the launch of Hunstanton lifeboat at 2.21pm after receiving a 999 call.
The kite surfer was around half a mile from the shore, near Old Hunstanton RNLI boathouse.
Lifeboat volunteers located the male casualty and helped him to safety along with his kite.
No medical treatment was required, and a search of the area for his board was unsuccessful.
The lifeboat Spirit of West Norfolk brought the surfer back to the station.
