"Let's hope I nail Sweet Saraya" - Lena Headey and more tweet the Norwich wrestlers they'll be playing in new film

The stars of The Rock's upcoming feature film, Fighting With My Family, have taken to social media to comment on their upcoming roles.

The movie, details of which were announced on Tuesday, will focus on the Knight family, a group of professional wrestlers from Norwich.

Game of Thrones actress Lena Headey will be stepping into the shoes of Sweet Saraya (Julia Hamer-Bevis), with Hot Fuzz actor Nick Frost portraying her husband, ‘Rowdy’ Ricky Knight.

Their daughter, WWE star Paige will be played by Florence Pugh and Jack Lowden will take on the role of Zak Knight.

The actors and actresses took to Twitter on Thursday evening to share their thoughts on their new roles, with Headey saying: “Thank you @TheRock let’s hope I nail Sweet Saraya” and Frost telling Ricky Knight that “it’s an honour! I’ll try and do you proud!”

Julia Hamer-Bevis replied to Headey, saying that she was “100% positive” that the cast for the film is right and that she is “honoured” Lena accepted the role.

Hamer-Bevis added: “Strange to watch another portray me but you are perfect, thank you.”

Paige, real name Saraya-Jade Bevis, welcomed Florence Pugh to her world, saying she was “excited” to meet the actress soon, while the UK Hooligans, Roy and Zak Bevis proudly told Nick Frost they loved that he would be playing their dad, claiming he is the “perfect choice”.
