A new museum exhibition focuses on the macabre, ghouls, ghosts and scary stories.
‘Terrifying Tales and other Spooky Stories’ opens at True’s Yard Fisherfolk Museum in King’s Lynn tomorrow and runs until the end of November.
It charts the darker side of Lynn’s past looking at the witches hunted by Witch Finder General Matthew Hopkins, the trials, and mayhem which left their mark on the town today.
Museum manager Lindsey Bavin said: “Places mentioned in the exhibition that can be seen today are the Duke’s Head, Bank House, The Tudor Rose, the Exorcist’s House, and several houses in King Street.
“The exhibition room will be transformed into a haunted house of history, complete with ghost bride, séance table and skeleton, and visitors will learn about murders, and the ghosts that lived in the museum.”
