A popular music night based on television show Later with Jools Holland is set to return for its 10th anniversary.

The Room started off in 2007 with multiple bands, on multiples stages - all for a night of local music, the only qualification being the bands had to play their own music.

This year, the event returns to Gorleston's Ocean Rooms on April 29 - after a three year break. Organiser Howard Marshall said: 'I decided to bring the show back following the constant requests from fans of the event, the reforming of local 80s band Foot In The Door and the anniversary.'

At its height, The Room attracted more than 800 guests and this year promises to bring the same atmosphere and talent. Already confirmed are Rivers, Transeuropa, Morganway, The Vagaband, Foot in the Door and Big Steve Arlene. Plus, house band the H Gang.

Tickets cost £7 on the door, for more visit
