Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus were called out to a fire in a building at West Runton.
Crews from Sheringham and Cromer raced to the scene, in Renwick Park East, after the alarm was raised on Thursday around 10.20pm.
They used hose reel jets, supplemented by a hydrant, to extinguish.
A spokesperson for the fire service added: 'A thermal image camera was used to check for hot spots and a positive pressure ventilation fan was used to clear the building of smoke.'
Earlier in the evening, around 9.20pm, firefighters from North Walsham and Mundesley were called out to a grass fire on Hall Road, Felmingham. Hose reel jets were used to extinguish the fire.
