The last opportunity to comment on the draft neighbourhood plan for Hellesdon ends on Friday.
The pre-submission consultation period for the draft plan was extended until February 17 in order for more respondents to give their feedback ahead of sending the document to broadland District Council. A referendum on the plan is likely to be held some time this year.
Around Christmas 2015 a working group from the local community was set up by the parish council to develop the neighbourhood plan. The working group includes local residents, business representatives, parish councillors and advisors.
The Plan contains a vision, set of objectives and a number of policies that can help to shape the future of Hellesdon over the coming years – up to 2026. The document can be viewed on line on the parish council website at hellesdon-pc.gov.uk
