Four lucky EDP and Great Yarmouth Mercury readers have won prizes after submitting their suggestions for the name of a special edition beer that is being created by a Great Yarmouth brewery.
Karen Fox, from Stamford, won a VIP tour of the Falcon Brewery in Yarmouth and a case of Lacons ale after winning a competition to name the firm's new beer, which will be called Hiatus.
Mel Douglas, from Norwich, Olivia Rigney, from Mulbarton, and George Holmes, from Great Yarmouth, were runners-up in the competition and will each receive a case of Lacons beer.
The Lacons name was first associated with brewing beer in Great Yarmouth in 1760.
The brewery shut in 1968 ending a rich chapter in the regions brewing history, but has returned to the town and plans to produce 400 casks in the next 12 months.
