The Fakenham Labour party will be holding a meeting to give people the chance to find out more about the party and its policies.
The meeting is set to be held at 7pm at the Gallery Bistro in Fakenham on Monday, July 3 and it will be open to party members as well as people interested in finding out more.
Imogen Bruce, who coordinated the Labour effort in Fakenham during the general election said: 'Support and interest has gradually grown in Fakenham during the county council election and then the general election. We would like to build on this and concentrate now on local issues'.
Interest in the Labour party has surged since the general election and it has gained thousands of new members following their success, which saw Labour gain an additional 30 seats.
