Surfer rescued after failing to get kite airborne

A kite surfer has been rescued.


A kite surfer has been rescued from the Old Hunstanton coast.

The 21-year-old man from the Bedfordshire area had been kite surfing off the coast with his family when he was unable to get his kite flying while at sea.

Hunstanton RNLI was called at 8pm on Saturday, July 28 and were able to recover the surfer and his kite.

The alarm had been raised by his father who had spotted his son in trouble.

The father thanked the crew for their quick response.
