Firefighters were called to a house in North Walsham to reports that a person was trapped following a kitchen fire.
Crews from North Walsham and Mundesley attended the address in Hall Lane at around 6.30pm on Friday night.
When they arrived they found there were no people in the building, and used hose reels to extinguish the fire. They returned to their stations by 9pm.
