More than 130 lots will come under the hammer at King's Lynn Minster to raise funds for the church renovation.

Antiques, pictures, collectables and even a holiday will be on offer at an auction on Saturday, September 15 at the Saturday Market Place church.

Funds raised at the auction will go to the King's Lynn Minster restoration and development appeal which still needs to raise more than £60,000 towards the cost of works.

The £800,000 repair work will see the restoration and re-leading of the clerestory windows in the north choir and an additional entrance and emergency exit on the west side of the church.

Canon Chris Ivory said: 'The local community has been very generous in supporting the Minster appeal, but we hope also that people enjoy the fund raising events.'

The auction begins at 2pm and is cash only. For more information contact the Minster on 01553 767090 or email vicar@kingslynnminster.org.
