A foodbank in a West Norfolk town has found a new home after an uncertain few months following the sale of its previous site.

The King's Lynn Foodbank will be operating from the King's Lynn Sea Cadets building on St Margaret's Lane, from Monday, June 11, 12.30pm to 2.30pm.

The foodbank has been distributing emergency food supplies from its temporary site at the Purfleet Trust since March, following the sale of their previous home at The Red Cross building.

'It's taken us months to find a suitable building,' said trustee Andy King. 'So we're delighted to be working with the Sea Cadets.

'The building is in a great location, there's plenty of space to sit down with people over a tea or coffee and there's space available if we need to talk with someone in private.'
