King’s Lynn’s oldest art club is holding its 71st annual exhibition
It started at the end of the Second World War and now the King's Lynn Art Club is holding its 71st annual exhibition.
Lynda Roberts, vice-chairman of the club, said: 'The exhibition has been run every year since the war and we're the longest running art club in Lynn.
'This year there are about 16 artists taking part, including myself, with about 68 works, all paintings, on show. I'm exhibiting two portraits. 'The works include abstract, scenery, portraits and flowers.
'Visitors will be able to choose their favourite and there will be prizes.'
The exhibition starts today at 10am at the old warehouse gallery at the King's Lynn arts centre and runs until Saturday, July 30. It is open from 10am to 5pm, and admission is free.
