A Suffolk woman is set to hit the national air waves as she presents a show on Jazz FM from May 19.
Amber Butchart from Kessingland, will be presenting her weekly night time Peppermint Candy swing show with DJ partner Nisha Thirkell.
The pair were invited to present the hourly show from 6pm and 7pm every Thursday as their Broken Hearts DJ swing music act is well known in the music world.
Amber, who went to Sir John Leman School in Beccles and has modelled for Vogue, will be playing swing tunes from the hey dey of swing with songs by Cab Calloway among others and also contemporary tunes by acts such as The Correspondents.
She said: 'I am very excited about Peppermint Candy. A lot of people do not realise how swing music still influences music today.'
