On Friday, the care home unveiled their in-house store and poppy feature wall to commemorate 100 years.
Children from Kessingland Primary School have combined forces with Manor Farm Care Home to open a poppy wall to mark the centenary of World War One.
On Friday, November 2 the care home unveiled their in-house store and poppy feature wall to commemorate 100 years.
The poppy wall was created by staff, residents of the home and their relatives as well as children from the local primary school.
The tireless efforts of the staff, residents and children was a part of an inter-generational program to help engage care home patron with the community.
Students from Kessingland Primary School have been involved in the program since it began in September this year Managing Director, Vinay K. Patel said: 'We've done some choir singing and they are coming back for Christmas carols and a joint church visit.'
As well as the poppy feature wall, Manor Farm also opened the Manor Farm Shop for residents who wish to shop and work at the store.
'You can buy everything from chocolates, biscuits and greeting cards - a lot of the stuff out there that we would need on a daily basis you can buy at the store,' Mr Patel said.
