Fundraiser Clara Jordison has attended the Palace of Westminster after raising almost £3300 this year for a juvenile arthritis charity with help from her family.
Clara was diagnosed with oligoarthritis JIA and uveitis eye disease three years ago and the Jordison family, who live in Poringland, have dedicated themselves to raising money for the JIA at NRAS charity, which resulted in an invitation to the palace.
Clara was given an outstanding fundraiser award during her visit and was accompanied by her parents Mark and Victoria as well as sister Imogen.
Dad Mark raised £855 in 2017 from running the Brighton Marathon and mum Victoria created a Facebook fundraiser which has raised a current total of £966.
In total, they have raised around £4400 with thanks to both friends and local schools Framingham Earl High and Saxlingham Primary, who hosted wear purple days to raise money for the charity.
