A Norwich Crown Court jury hearing the trial of a woman who is alleged to have encouraged a driver who targeted three men in a hit and run has been sent out to consider its verdict.
Sammi Horner, 35, of Market Place, North Walsham, has denied intentionally encouraging or assisting Darren Blackmore during the incident in the Vicarage Car Park in North Walsham.
It happened on July 23 last year when Blackmore drove his Peugeot 307 at the three men - leaving one with multiple injuries.
The jury of six men and six women has heard that Blackmore, 43, of Laburnham Close, Wymondham, earlier admitted causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
The prosecution alleges Horner told Blackmore to 'go get them'. However she denies she encouraged Blackmore and in interview said she could not believe what Blackmore had done.
