There are 63 job vacancies in Diss at the moment on, offering a range of salaries and covering a variety of skills from engineering to accounting.

The highest paid position being advertised is for a Senior Embedded Software Engineer, offering a negotiable salary depending upon experience, of between £45,000 and £70,000. Working with a world-renowned business in automotive and aerospace engineering, the successful candidate will be based in a Diss production centre to execute and test software routines.

The second highest paid vacancies available are for registered nurses with Partnerships in care, who are seeking a Registered Mental Nurse to provide a high standard of care to those suffering with mental illness, and a Registered Nurse to work with those who have learning disabilities.

Both vacancies have a salary level of between £30,000 and £40,000 per year and require applicants to have a relevant nursing qualification and registration. The ideal candidate should be a good team player, highly motivated and be committed to patient-centred care.

Other jobs available include an Events Assistant for Iconic Event Strategies, who must have previous experience in sport, fitness and leisure and be aged over 18. Role responsibilities will include promoting clients, products and services and interacting with customers.

An experienced butcher is required to join an established business in the town, applicants should have a good knowledge of food and experience using machinery such as a band saw and meat slicers.

This role will involve varied work such as assisting with brewing, cask washing and racking as well as making deliveries and dealing with customers. The position is for 30 hours per week and will pay £5 per hour.

Capable Consultants Limited are also offering an apprenticeship, in Business Recruitment. The role is for 37 hours per week and the successful candidate will learn to fulfil assignments worth thousands of pounds.
