A gold locket of great sentimental value was one of the items stolen after a house was burgled in the Gunton area.
The locket contains some of the ashes of the victim's mother and the chain has a twist pattern running from top to bottom containing diamond pieces.
A silver chain and pendant with a mother of pearl design, featuring the head and shoulders of a woman and a silver square ring with a yellow stone, were also stolen.
Officers are appealing for help and have encouraged anyone who has been offered such an item for sale, or have any information regarding the theft, to call Suffolk Police on 101 reference 37/10260/16 or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
