Detectives believe thieves who stole a haul of jewellery and a laptop computer from one Aylsham home may be responsible for another burglary in the town.
Two women's gold/diamond heart-shaped pendants, gold hoop earrings, a gold Goldsmiths bracelet, a men's gold Seapro watch, a women's gold Rotary watch and a black Samsung laptop were stolen from an address in Stuart Road between 9.10am on January 20 and 1.40pm on January 22 by a thief or thieves who broke in through a back window.
The second incident took place in Buxton Road sometime between 9.45am on January 20 and 5.45pm on January 24 when an attempt was made to break in through a ground-floor bedroom window. A number of tools were also stolen from a garden shed, including a fork, spade and shears.
The incidents are being linked as the intruders also used garden tools to break into the Stuart Road property.
Anyone with information should contact Det Con Tom Gibbs on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
